Even when Infor is the data producer, Infor Intelligent Open Network (ION) acts as secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) client, polling SFTP server for new data. Admin creates SFTP user in AWS Transfer Family and manually passes credentials to Infor ION to configure service. Files moving over SFTP can be Business Object Documents (BOD/XML), delimiter-separated, JSON, or no-schema. Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) event notifications can send data to Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), AWS Lambda, or Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) when new objects are written to a bucket.
