Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Data Analytics Lab Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analytics tools and technologies, including Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python, along with experience in delivering hands-on training and lab sessions. As a Data Analytics Lab Trainer, you will play a crucial role in providing practical training and mentorship to individuals interested in mastering the art of data analysis and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop interactive lab exercises and projects to reinforce data analytics concepts and techniques using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python.
2. Facilitate lab sessions both in-person and virtually, guiding participants through hands-on activities and providing real-time assistance and support as needed.
3. Create and maintain lab environments, ensuring that all necessary software, datasets, and resources are readily available for participants to use during training sessions.
4. Collaborate with the curriculum development team to integrate lab exercises seamlessly into training programs, aligning with learning objectives and outcomes.
5. Assist participants in troubleshooting technical issues, debugging code, and overcoming challenges encountered during lab activities.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in data analytics tools and technologies, incorporating new features and functionalities into lab exercises.
7. Evaluate participants' performance and progress through lab assessments, projects, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
8. Assist in marketing and promoting lab-based training offerings, including creating promotional materials and participating in outreach activities to attract new participants.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or in a similar role, with expertise in data analysis, visualization, and manipulation.
3. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Excel (including advanced functions and formulas), SQL (for data querying and manipulation), and Python (for data analysis and scripting).
4. Experience designing and delivering hands-on training sessions or lab-based workshops, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
7. Passion for teaching and mentorship, with a genuine desire to help others succeed in their data analytics journey.
